Buffoli Transfer S.P.A. in 19th position in the Plimsoll Study ‘Machinery for Metallurgy - Italy 2024’
The latest edition of the Plimsoll Sector Study, published in November 2024, confirms Buffoli Transfer's leading role in the metallurgy machinery manufacturing sector in Italy.

Here are some key figures that emerge from the study:
  • Buffoli ranks 19th among the 180 leading companies in the machine tool sector.
  • Buffoli is firmly at the top in the production of transfer machines (3rd) and first exporter.
  • Buffoli ranks 36th among Italian companies with the highest growth index.
In recent years, Buffoli Transfer has consolidated its position through important strategic acquisitions, including 100% of Electro Engineering and other shareholdings, creating a 4.0 and 5.0 innovation hub unique in Italy, the BlueTechHub, where robotic automation systems, turnkey lines, additive manufacturing systems and processes, as well as customised hardware and software are also designed and developed. The publication devotes two pages to our company, analysing its steady growth and achievements in the post-Covid period.

A rapidly changing sector. The study highlights how the Italian metalworking machinery manufacturing market is characterised by complex dynamics, with some companies booming and others forced to review their objectives.
