From VERTI-CENTER to QUADRI-TURN and TRANS-BAR, Buffoli Transfer sets new benchmarks in flexible machining
Buffoli Transfer at the latest EMO in Hannover received wide recognition for its innovative solutions in the field of flexible transfer and bar machines. In the spotlight were the new versions of the VERTI-CENTER, the brand-new QUADRI-TURN, and the flagship TRANS-BAR: three technological milestones designed for machining complex precision parts in medium- to short-size batches, even with fourth and fifth axes and a wide availability of tools.
The new flexible VERTI-CENTER architectures with suspended table are available both with horizontal and vertical revolver turret heads, and with vertical modules equipped with automatic tool-change magazines and roto-tilting clamping devices, allowing machining at any inclination. These configurations combine the productivity and reliability typical of transfer machines with the versatility required by modern production lines, minimizing set-up times and ensuring high-precision machining with optimal chip evacuation.
Particularly appreciated was also the new QUADRI-TURN, a standard machine for machining complex bar-fed parts (up to 50 mm or 100 mm diameter) with four lathes working in parallel, together with the most recent innovations introduced on the company’s flagship product, the TRANS-BAR.
From the automatic loading of raw parts or bars, with quality control on entry and possible repositioning for a second operation, through to the finished part, cleaned, inspected and palletized, Buffoli solutions offer a fully integrated process. The goal is to provide turnkey plants capable of supporting companies in the ongoing path toward greater flexibility, increasing competitiveness in markets where quality and quick response are decisive factors.
The success achieved at EMO was particularly significant in the Central and Northern European markets, where Buffoli is a recognized leader. Appreciated were not only the technological evolution of the machines, but also the establishment, in Minerbe and Vicenza, of two service departments with fifteen highly specialized staff.
InterMach Service, launched four years ago within the Buffoli Industries group, handles installation and assistance for both Buffoli transfer machines and those of other manufacturers, also working with leading Italian importers of machining centers and lathes.
The success at EMO confirms Buffoli’s vocation for combining engineering tradition and innovation, while enhancing both the industrial roots in Brescia and the group’s international reach: about 70% of Buffoli Transfer’s turnover—today amounting to 35 million euros—comes from abroad.
