Buffoli Industries is pleased to announce the continuation of its collaboration with ITS Academy Machina Lonati and the BlueTechHub in Brescia for the Industrial Mechatronics course, now entering its second edition. Starting from the 2025–2027 biennium, the programme will welcome two new classes of 30 students each, confirming the strong interest and growing demand in the territory.
The training initiative was originally presented during the Open House / BlueTechDays event at the BlueTechHub, where the new biennial course for toolmakers and mechatronics technicians was officially introduced in partnership with ITS Academy Machina Lonati and a network of leading industrial players.
Key industrial partners include:
These collaborations ensure hands-on exposure to cutting-edge technologies in areas such as robotics, automation, quality control, artificial intelligence, virtual and augmented reality
The course adopts a dual education model, alternating classroom instruction at ITS Machina Lonati (Via Tommaseo 49, Brescia) with regular on-site internships at the partner companies’ facilities—including Buffoli sites in Italy and abroad—and affiliated labs.
The diploma awarded by the Ministry, now titled “Diploma of Specialization for Applied Technologies” (EQF Level 5), has been recently updated, enhancing its formal recognition across Italy. The strategic aim is to align technical education with the real needs of industry, thereby facilitating employability, reducing time-to-hire and promoting talent retention.
This initiative contributes significantly to strengthening the local industrial ecosystem, through a virtuous synergy between education, innovation and territory—with positive spill‑over effects on competitiveness and digital transformation toward Industry 4.0 and 5.0.
